A morning subtle
wake up
then pick up the pieces of a morning past
the corpse of yesterday upon fingertip's first and last
the subtle scent of coffee smiling in silky white
piercing the lush linens a delicate sunlight
throw away the fragile fragments and leave the past behind
a new day has started but you keep living in rewind
wind blows, birds sing, and like them you too ought to live
to be free
I decided to turn the original image into a poem since I felt it was lacking something.
