Maksim is Darya’s love interest. Being an independent thinker, he sees the world around him for what it really is, and not for what he wishes it would be. Although logical and self aware on the outside, he can’t help but feel that life indeed no longer holds any real meaning. This, however, doesn’t stop him from at least trying to live a happy life. With his own place, a decent job, a nice car, a (dying) house cat, and (to Darya’s displeasure) a cute girlfriend, he does everything he can to make his life as positive as he can. |
