ZOE is Nikita’s pet robot. Due to the sad fact that real animals are barely capable of surviving in Aksinya’s steam generated atmosphere, Nikita took it upon himself to invent his own companion. Though it’s far from looking like your everyday house pet, ZOE provides some good natured comic relief to the dark and dreary world they all live in. ZOE’s indifference to her depressing surroundings, however, are mainly due to her being a robot, thus, is devoid of genuine human emotion. |
