My 20th birthday is tomorrow. Don't really have much planned, but I will be spending the day with my parents, my brother and his family =] We're going to a Thai restaurant in Irving. The thought of their delicious food alone is making me impatient ._.
Also, if you haven't already, check out some of David Lynch's work, it's incredible. Unless you're Lynch himself, you probably won't understand what's going on in his movies on the initial viewing, but once you understand the concepts being portrayed, your mind will be blown away..
How is everyone?

"I have never been wise"
I've seen Eraserhead, which made me go 'wtf' throughout, but in retrospect it was rather profound & disturbing. I have yet to watch more.
Happy early birthday!

At the time, I didn't think much of David; to me he was just another director lol. It wasn't until I saw Eraserhead and The Elephant Man when I fully discovered the genius behind Mulholland Drive. Since then, I've had the pleasure of seeing some of his short films (The Amputee, The Alphabet, etc.), the mini series "Rabbits" (you can find all 8 episodes on youtube, they're very powerful and creepy), and Inland Empire (I'm not gonna lie, it was excruciatingly long lol, but it was very interesting, especially with his filming techniques, symbolism and themes). I have yet to see Twin Peaks and Lost Highway, but they're definitely on the top of my to watch list

As far as Lynch is concerned, I highly recommend Mulholland Drive, The Elephant Man, and Inland Empire. I've heard a lot of good things about Lost Highway as well, but I have yet to see it
