_{After a few weeks of using my holga, I've found it pretty refreshing to just take photos and not worry about technical stuff (aperture, shutter speed, ISO, and all that jazz). Just go out, shoot and have fun; the way photography should be. I've sent out two rolls of film this past week to be developed, one of which should be ready for pick up by this Friday. Can't wait to see how those turned out. By the way, has anyone ever had a bidding war on ebay? lol I had placed a 9 dollar bid on a Fujica ST705 camera three days prior to its end date. I was the only bidder for a while and was hoping to keep it that way so I wouldn't have to pay so much. Unfortunately, I ended up having a bidding war with two people at the last moment and the final balance came out to 22.56 plus shipping and handling. Tough break. The fight was worth it though and I can't wait for the camera to arrive. Speaking of ebay, I'm currently selling my 50mm f/1.8 lens here if anyone's interested. Works perfectly, and I've taken great care of both the lens and the box it came in. Only selling because I'm planning on purchasing a lens that covers that focal range. my husband has done a lot of bidding on ebay and soooo many people wait for the last few seconds to make sure they get it!!!!!! I personally think that sucks.

I agree, it does suck. Unless you're the one bidding at the last second, then it sucks for the other people lol j/k j/k
It is a fun game though, albeit annoying at times, but well worth the effort once you receive the item

i disagree with *lizole that the bidding at the last minute sucks haha.. i always do that, and i always win too! you should try it yourself. i hope you enjoy your new fujica

I've only gotten through two pages so far

I want to finish it I just need to find some time to actually sit down and read without anything on my mind so I can enjoy it.

Ironically, that's how I've been feeling lately too. I used to read a lot and I loved it, but recently it feels as if my interest just decided to jump off a cliff and kill itself. Yanno, I should probably find a way to bring that interest back to life
